Who We Are
Salt City Historical Fencing is a fencing club located in Syracuse, NY, focused on the study and training of the medieval/Renaissance longsword.

We practice Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA), which studies old systems of armed combat from period sources into living systems of combat sport. Salt City Historical Fencing brings a safe, educational, and fun environment to Central New York for students to practice the art of historical fencing.
Practices
We welcome people from all backgrounds and skill level to join us for practice whether visiting or on a permanent basis. Intro classes are every 5 weeks and are free/no commitment. Check out the Class Information page for more details on what we do. Reach out to us for more info on how to join.
